Which programme would you like to donate to?

General Donation:

Youth, Leadership and Governance Programme. This programme focuses on youth human rights defenders' protection, monitoring and documenting the situation of youth human rights defenders, temporary relocation for YHRDs at most risk, capacity development of Youth leadership and enhancing their capacities in engaging in governance as well as creating platforms through which youth HRDs and leaders can share experiences, network and create synergies on how to push back against shrinking civic space.

Civil Society Strengthening and Grant Making (TRANET-Africa Social Action Fund)

Through this programme, we aim to foster a proactive and engaged civil society as well as fostering a fair operating environment for Civil society organisations and providing small grants to grassroots and national organisations especially youthled and youth focused to undertake time sensitive and rapid response initiatives.

Specifically the grant programme has the following categories. under this programme, you may choose which grants scheme you would like to donate to.

Economic, Climate Justice and Migration Programme

This programme aims to deepen understanding on economic and climate justice and their relationship with migration. Climate injustice plays a big role in fostering economic injustice. Through this programme, we aim to alleviate challenges of unemployment and systematic discrimination and uneven distribution of resources. We further advance the rights of migrant workers and deepen understanding on how to bolster a fair and conducive working environment for Migrant workers. 

Policy research, Advocacy and Campaigning for Social Justice

This is one of key programmes in engaging with policy and decision making processes. We undertake regular documentation and monitoring of the situation of Human Rights Defenders, climate, environment and civil society as well as undertake policy analysis and advocacy to identify what policies and or laws and unfavourable or could be fostering social injustices in our societies as well as campaigning for social justice
